Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Charlotte is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My husband and I tried Everest Bistro for the first time today and we're blown away. Generous portions of delicious food combined with outstanding service left us in absolute awe. The unsweetened black tea was very unique and delicious, freshly brewed with a hint of ginger, couldn't get enough of it! Neither of us could finish our entree but we at least got us some Mango Lassi as dessert. Super flavorful and satisfying! All around extremely pleased, will definitely be back!! Thank you, Everest Bistro ❀️

I don’t write a ton of reviews, but this place absolutely deserves it. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. And as an added bonus, the toilets had bidet functions. Best momos I’ve had since my trip to Nepal! Curry was amazing. And the samosa chaat… *chef’s kiss* Give this place a try if you want Indian or Nepalese place. I’m shocked this place was as empty as it was when we went for our date. The way the food tasted, and how impeccable the service was, you’d think there would be a reservation list.

We had an incredible takeout meal! Everything was packaged really well and was still hot when we got home. We started with the vegetable samosas, which were perfectly crispy with a flavorful filling. The mint chutney was fresh, and the tamarind sauce added the perfect sweet and tangy kick. The Gobi Manchurian was our favorite appetizerβ€”crispy cauliflower tossed in a bold, savory sauce with just the right amount of spice. The basmati rice was perfectly cooked, and both the garlic naan and plain naan were soft, fresh, and perfect for soaking up all the sauces. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and we even had leftovers for another meal. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

We came today for the first time. We ordered the chicken Momo dumplings. My husband had the chicken Biryani and I had the butter chicken and garlic naan. The food was absolutely delicious! The dumplings were so yummy!!! A little sweet but also savory and stuffed. The butter chicken was the creamiest I've ever had and so flavorful and the chicken biryani was delicious and the meat fell right off the bone. We will definitely be coming back. Also, great portions and prices and the manager and servers were so kind and attentive.

Everest Bistro on Mt Holly-Huntersville road in Charlotte was a pleasant surprise, stumbling upon delicious Indian/Nepali food in a strip mall in the most uncharacteristic of places. We got: Chicken Jhol Momos: Steamed chicken momos in a soup like curry with mild spices made for a great appetizer. We were expecting it to have a bit more kick to it, but still it tasted pretty good. Everest Chicken: Boneless chicken pieces slathered with a red sauce and served piping hot made for a wonderful main dish. The chicken wasn’t chewy at all, which we appreciated. Paneer Tikka Kabab: 7-8 square pieces of Paneer(Cottage Cheese) rubbed with spices and served with a salad provided us the right amount m of protein and flavor. Masala Chai: The chais were your usual chai, with the tea spices being on the higher side. The service was up to the mark with servers taking our orders promptly, and complying with our requests. The dining area inside is sizeable to accommodate large crowds. The restaurant is in a strip mall, so there’s a lot of parking outside. The restrooms I did were clean. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience here, and we are looking to try more of their Nepali dishes the next ti
